About etee
We're a small, hands-on Canadian company on a simple mission: make practical products that cut waste without sacrificing quality or convenience. We do it by stripping the water, plastic, and packaging out of everyday household and personal care products — laundry, dish, skincare, dental, body. We develop and manufacture much of it ourselves, in-house, and we sell direct to customers through our own Shopify store, Amazon, Etsy, and a growing subscription base. Every order we ship is plastic that doesn't end up in a landfill or an ocean.
The opportunity
This is a founders'-track role for someone who wants to build a career in with a brand in ecommerce which produces own products and fulfills it's own orders — project management, customer experience, operations...process and product improvement across the whole organization — at a fast-growing brand, working directly alongside the owners. You won't be handed a narrow job. You'll learn how a real product business runs from the inside out, then grow into owning a meaningful piece of it.
Let's be straight about how it works
For roughly the first six months, you'll be hands-on: making products with our proprietary in-house processes, filling and assembling kits, picking and packing orders, and answering real customer questions. This isn't busywork and it isn't indefinite — it's how you earn the context that makes you dangerous later. You can't run customer experience or growth for a physical-product brand you've never built, shipped, or fielded a complaint about. This is your tuition, and we pay you a salary to do it.
After that rotation, there's a real checkpoint and a defined path into the part of the business where you're strongest and we need you most — project management, ecommerce, marketing operations, customer experience, or wholesale. The growth isn't a vague "maybe someday." It's the whole point of the hire.
Who we're looking for
We care far more about the person than the résumé. You probably:
- Hold a bachelor's degree — any field. Arts is great. You do not need a computer science, marketing, or business degree. What matters is that you're sharp, curious, and want to keep learning.
- Are genuinely excited about product, problem solving, logistics and project management and ecommerce, and want to grow into that side of the business.
- Care about the environment and reducing our dependence on oil and gas — it's the whole reason we exist.
- Are reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable on your feet doing physical, hands-on work for the first stretch.
- Take ownership, ask good questions, and don't think any task is beneath you.
- Can commit to full-time hours, in person, in Oshawa.
You do not need warehouse, manufacturing, or any specific industry experience — we'll teach you the operations from scratch.
What we offer
A $45,000/year salary from day one (not hourly), direct mentorship from the owners, a genuine path to own a function of a growing business, and a team small enough that the impact of your work is immediate and obvious. Plus a real mission you can be proud of.
How to apply
Send us a short, honest note — a few real paragraphs, not a polished corporate cover letter — telling us:
- Why etee's mission resonates with you personally.
- One thing you changed in your own life that nobody asked you to, and how you pulled it off.
- Where you want to be in two or three years, and how growing with a small company fits that.
And tell us your favourite etee product and why. (Yes, that means take a look first — etee.com, and find us on Instagram and TikTok at @eteecanada.)
Strong applicants are invited in for a paid trial day so we can meet you, you can see the work, and we can both make sure it's a great fit.
We can't wait to meet the person who's ready to grow with us.
