Temporary Full time (37.5 hours per week, 1 year with option to renew)

We currently have an opportunity for a Temporary Full-time Research Coordinator – Obstetrics and Gynecology Group with Sunnybrook Research Institute

Required Qualifications / Skills:
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in health-related field or equivalent (MSc degree is an asset).
Professional accreditation in clinical research (e.g. CCRP, ACRP) is an asset.
2+ years clinical trial management experience in a healthcare setting.
Understanding of project management processes and methodology with respect to quality assurance and risk management is an asset.
Sound knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
Experience preparing and maintaining documentation for Research Ethics Boards (REBs) and Regulatory Authorities. Computer proficiency including advanced skills with MS Office applications is required.
Experience with financial management of research studies is an asset.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
Excellent organizational and time management skills are required.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Coordinating clinical trial activities to ensure deliverables are met.
Preparation and administration of REB and regulatory submissions.
Assisting PI on grant writing and grant administration.
Preparation and maintenance of the trial protocol and all trial-related documents.
Facilitating research objectives by conducting and participating in analyses.
Recruit patients for clinical trials; assessing inclusion/exclusion criteria and determining eligibility with the study investigator.
Perform all aspects of study visits - informed consent process, all visit activities, collecting/completing data forms, maintaining source documents, and scheduling procedure and follow-up appointments.
Enter and maintain data in the electronic system.
Process and ship lab specimens to central laboratory.
