Our rapidly growing company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team and lead our construction projects to new heights.
Position Overview
As a Senior Project Manager at Barton Construction, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing building construction projects from initiation to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, safely, with the highest level of quality. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive understanding of construction methodologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
● Lead and manage building construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
● Oversee project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring that work is performed according to specifications and industry standards.
● Develop and maintain project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-control measures.
● Monitor projects in progress, identify possible concerns, and implement solutions to keep projects on schedule.
● Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
● Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project plans.
● Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment on construction sites.
● Foster strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns.
● Mentor and coach junior team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
● Stay on top of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the company.
Qualifications
● DCS / DEC
● Minimum of 5 years managing multiple projects in the construction industry and 8 years of framing experience.
● Savvy computer skills and proficient in project management software and tools.
● Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, codes, and regulations.
● Exceptional coaching skills, clear communication both oral and written.
● Strong negotiation skills and problem solver.
● Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
● Results-oriented with a focus on meeting project deadlines and financial targets.
● Certification in Project Management (PMP) is desirable.
● First Aid CPR & AED, PMP, Whimis and CSTS an asset.
● Clear record.
● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Salary: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
