Our salon offers a large range of hair services including cuts, colours, treatments, and additional spa services such as waxing. We are looking for an individual who is knowledgeable and skilled in these areas and can recommend hair care products, styling options, latest hair trends and styling methods to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair services including cuts, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and offering professional recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas according to health regulations.
- Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, and styling tools to enhance the client experience.
- Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction and build lasting relationships.
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products to offer innovative services.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Licensed Hairstylist
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards in a salon setting.
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining excellent client rapport.
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred but not required.
- A passion for hairstyling, creativity, and continuous learning is essential for success in this role.
- Ability to build personal relationships and create a loyal clientele
- Considered an Asset: Make up application, waxing and facial services experience
Pay: $17.85-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
