What Do You Need?
" University graduate with a minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience in Brand Management. " Experience in Sales and/or the Beauty Care category also an asset.
" Experience coaching/mentoring individuals or a team.
" Thorough understanding of Canadian retail landscape.
" High level of proficiency with customer POS, Nielsen data, as well as with MS office programs including PPT, Excel, Word.
Currently seeking a Senior Brand Manager for the Beauty Retail business unit
This position reports to the Marketing Director.
As the Senior Brand Manager, your creativity and entrepreneurial mindset will help define and execute our strategy to grow aggressively within the Canadian Hair Care market.
You will have one direct report and will also be coaching one or two marketing interns.

What Will You Do?
" Leverage insights to define brand vision/strategy, with clear short and long-term objectives.
" Drive decision making to balance short and long-term goals.
" Effectively manage innovation, marketing, and promotional activities in support of the annual company plan.
" Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams including the U.S and Global to drive Canadian innovation agenda and projects.
" Motivate & constructively challenge external IAT partners to develop high quality marketing campaigns/programs, particularly in digital space; monitor and review performance.
" Effective management of Advertising and Promotion budget; manage to budget with the right activities, understand ROI of major activities, make recommendations for improvement, monthly reporting.
" P&L depth to manage to financial targets and help identify opportunities for efficiency/improvement.
" Input into annual brand targets, incorporating latest brand trends, innovation, and changes in customer strategy
. " Lead annual marketing planning process, providing support for all areas of the plan to include strategy definition, market share projections, consumer plan. and presentations to internal teams as well as customers and agency teams
. " Oversee all creative activity associated with Brand's consumer and sales activities, as per brand objectives and guidelines.
" Help develop sound strategic recommendations based on analysis of ongoing trade and consumer promotion programs, assessing the implications it has on marketing strategy and achievement of objectives.
" Identify/lead any market research opportunities.
" Provide ongoing coaching to both ABM and Beauty Intern(s) to prioritize workload, elevate and develop, and oversee executional deliverables.
