Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role involves supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, forklift license is a plus.. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety, efficiency, and accuracy.
The job will be Tuesday and Thursdays 8-5. You will be the second person, on our cube van, doing deliveries for 2 stores.
Duties
- Load and unload shipments using forklifts
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, and order pickers, safely and efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting tasks
- Maintain organized storage areas and ensure proper labeling of products
- Support warehouse distribution activities by preparing items for shipment or storage
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all operations
- To deliver merchandise into residental homes without causing damage to their property.
Skills
- Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures and order fulfillment processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution practices and logistics coordination
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory accuracy
- Physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, walking, lifting, and moving heavy loads
