Imperial Brady Canada, leading national distributor, has a job open in our Superior Sany Solutions division. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Retail Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Work together with marketing dept and procurement to ensure all scheduled promo’s , planned liquidation clearances and scheduled store events take place and that we have sufficient inventory across all 8 retails stores.
- Work closely with sales and service dept to ensure we have alignment on our execution as it relates to cleaning equipment , tools and private brand initiatives.
- Oversee all retail pricing adjustments and make sure it is in line with market trends and competitor benchmarks.
- Constantly Innovate our processes and methods to enhance the image of our stores , increase foot traffic, sales, and profitability
- Promote compliance with all our policies and procedures, motivate all retail personnel, and create a positive and winning culture
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of retail associates to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing training and development.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Manage daily store operations, including inventory control, cash handling, and maintaining a clean, organized environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Oversee visual merchandising to ensure the store's layout and product displays are attractive and aligned with company standards.
- Set and achieve sales goals, analyze sales data, and implement strategies to drive business growth.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Implement and execute company initiatives, promotions, and marketing strategies.
- Schedule and oversee staffing levels to optimize productivity.
- Prepare and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure financial objectives are met.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to sales, inventory, and staff performance.
- Manage team performance.
- Build out people strategy along side IBC leaders.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Retail Store Leader, Store Manager, or similar role in the retail industry.
- Experience in the Jan-San industry is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using retail management software and MS Office.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business administration or a related field is a plus.
Working/Other conditions
- Hybrid work model.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly to store locations across Quebec.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Prolong periods of standing, and computer and phone use.
