Responsibilities:

Prepare various financial analyses, including financial forecasts, budgets, variance analysis, product cost models and summary information for use in management reporting

Maintain accurate product costs (standard, actual, and cost variances) to support profitability analysis

Serve as the subject matter expert in reporting and analyzing manufacturing costs, material usage, labour, yields and overhead

Track and report on inventory, production costs, and variances, ensuring accurate cost accounting

Serve as the subject matter expert for utilizing ERP (Dynamic 365), ensuring accurate data capture, maximizing its functionality, and training team members

Prepare weekly internal reports for specific stakeholders

Assist in the monthly close process such as posting journal entries for accruals or corrections

Creation, maintenance and improvement of data collection and analysis

Assist with quarterly and annual audits
- Other duties may be as assigned as needed to ensure the efficient operation of the department
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s Degree & concentration in related field (Finance, Accounting)
- Working towards CPA designation is an asset

Experience in manufacturing cost accounting / analysis considered an asset

3-4 years’ relevant experience

Excel proficiency & experience (intermediate/complex formulas) – Power Query is an asset

Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize, manage tasks, and meet deadlines
