Job Overview
An excellent opportunity for an energetic, experienced Journeyperson Pipefitter or Plumber ( or 4th Year apprentice) for a term position August to November 30, 2026. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team, ensuring that mechanical installations and pressure piping work are completed efficiently and with high quality. Start date August 24th in Saskatoon area. Shifts could be 10 or 12 hours daily and with 4 days off.
Duties
- Install pressure piping
- Rig, fabricate and install piping systems according to specification.
- Perform welding tasks as needed for pipe connections and repairs
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.
Skills
- Proficient in rigging, maintaining, and fabricating piping systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot occasional issues.
- Proficient problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills in English for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications
- Journeyman / person Pipefitter or Plumber or 4th year
- Wage will be based on experience and skill; Journey person wage $50.00 per hour.
- Payroll or contractor; contractors must have sufficient liability insurance
- Preferably 2 or more years experience in pipe fitting
- Great safety record
- Relevant safety tickets are an asset, fall protection necessary
- Valid work permit
- Valid drivers license and reliable mode of transportation
- Successfully pass a standard D&A test
