Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as inventroy, chopping and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all ingredients
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health regulations and safety guidelines
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred, especially in food preparation or cooking roles
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Strong understanding of meal preparation, cooking methods, and food presentation
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
- Basic knowledge of serving procedures and customer service principles is a plus
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays if required
- Passion for the food industry with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
