Summary
ICT Industrial is seeking a motivated and high-potential Regional Sales Representative – Industrial to support revenue growth across North America. This is an early-career sales role focused on developing new business opportunities, supporting proposal efforts, and building client relationships within the industrial, EPC, and engineered-to-order sectors.
Working closely with senior sales leaders and cross-functional teams, the Regional Sales Representative will contribute to the sales process from opportunity identification through proposal support and contract award while developing the skills necessary for future growth within the organization.
This is an individual contributor role with responsibility for supporting business development activities within an assigned territory and helping achieve regional growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development & Opportunity Support
- Identify and support the development of new business opportunities across key industrial sectors including power, manufacturing, mining, energy, and process facilities.
- Build and maintain relationships with owners, EPCs, general contractors, and strategic partners.
- Conduct market research and identify target accounts and upcoming project opportunities.
- Support outreach efforts and initial client engagement activities.
- Assist with geographic and sector growth initiatives across Canada and the United States.
Pipeline Development & Sales Support
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Support opportunity qualification, tracking, and reporting within the CRM system.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and forecasts.
- Contribute to achieving regional sales and business development objectives.
Proposal & Commercial Support
- Coordinate and support proposal development by working with engineering, estimating, fabrication, and operations teams.
- Assist with preparing bid documents, presentations, and client-facing materials.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and follow-up activities.
- Support contract administration and documentation during the sales process.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment between client requirements and ICT capabilities.
- Collaborate with estimating, engineering, fabrication, and project delivery teams throughout the pursuit process.
- Assist in the transition of awarded projects to execution teams.
Market Intelligence & Representation
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, competitor activity, and client needs.
- Represent ICT Industrial at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
- Contribute to the development of sales collateral, presentations, and capability statements.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2 to 5 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or customer-facing roles within industrial construction, manufacturing, energy, EPC, or related industries.
- Experience supporting industrial projects, construction services, or engineered solutions is considered an asset.
- Understanding of industrial project environments and commercial processes is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong desire to develop a career in industrial sales and business development.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent industry experience will be considered.
