Job Summary
The Business Operations Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the company's day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and sustainable growth. This role serves as a key link between purchasing, inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics, customer service, sales, and accounting, ensuring that all departments work collaboratively to achieve organizational objectives.
The Business Operations Manager will drive process improvements, monitor operational performance, optimize resource utilization, and support strategic business initiatives. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Lead and oversee the day-to-day business operations of the company to ensure efficient and effective execution of organizational objectives.
· Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational processes, policies, and procedures to enhance productivity and service levels.
· Coordinate and align activities across purchasing, inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics, customer service, sales, and accounting departments.
· Monitor operational performance and key performance indicators (KPIs), identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
· Collaborate with department managers to optimize workflows, improve communication, and support cross-functional initiatives.
· Analyze business data and prepare operational reports to support management decision-making.
· Oversee inventory management processes to ensure product availability, inventory accuracy, and efficient stock control.
· Support budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and cost-control initiatives.
· Lead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
· Manage special projects, process improvement initiatives, and ERP system enhancements to support company growth.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
· Identify operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
· Support executive management in achieving strategic business goals and objectives.
Requirements:
· Completion of College or University education in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
· Minimum five years of management or business operations experience.
· Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
· Strong experience monitoring KPIs and implementing SOPs to support operational excellence and continuous improvement.
· Extensive ERP system experience is required, with a strong understanding of business operations, process optimization, reporting, and cross-functional workflows.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English, both written and verbal.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
· Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence.
· Advanced computer literacy, including strong Excel skills and practical working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
· Knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, logistics, customer service, and financial operations is considered an asset.
