We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in various kitchen tasks, ensuring a clean and efficient environment while supporting food preparation and service. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen operations and providing excellent service to our guests.
Duties
Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans quickly and thoroughly
Keep dishwashing and kitchen areas clean and organized
Assist chefs with basic food preparation (chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, etc.)
Take out garbage and recycling as required
Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
Help with other kitchen duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is a plus
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to maintain a sanitary work environment
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service
- Knowledge of food handling practices is advantageous
