Worley is seeking Electrical & Instrumentation Quality Control Inspectors to work with our growing team.
Details:
- 10/4 rotation
- 10 hour days
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that Quality requirements are met as per Cord Quality Manual.
- Create and review Inspections & Test Plans. (ITP)
- Receive and inspect the E&I equipment and ensure proper storage and preservation is met.
- Participate in the identification and documentation of non-compliance.
- Review client QA agreements and ensure compliance with document requirements.
- Lead the systems walk down and arrange the post walk down meetings to finalize the punch list content and categorization.
- Generate, manage and report daily punch status.
- Perform various electrical tests and inspections.
- Complete the quality assurance checks and compile final handover documentation.
- Prepare as-built drawings and redlines using Bluebeam.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, Bluebeam and other software considered an asset.
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Electrician
- Understanding of Jurisdictional Authority of requirements
- Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code. (CEC)
- CSTS 2020, Confined Space, AWP & Fall Protection Training
- Knowledge of testing equipment Ex. Megger, Multimeter, Torque
- Ability to read and interpret various drawings Ex. P&ID, Single Line
- Basic computer skills (MS word, MS excel, Bluebeam)
- Strong communication skills written and verbal. Be able to communicate to all levels of management. Must be well organized. Pay attention to detail.
- This position requires the candidate to be in the field 60% of the time and 40% in office (climbing ladders, crawling under/over obstructions, some minor lifting required and sitting for extended periods).
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
- Journeyman Red Seal certificate
- Minimum 2 years of E&I QC experience
