Overview
Our new store Liberty Kitchen Harbour Centre in North Vancouver is hiring full time and part time experienced Line Cooks. We are looking for enthusiastic people who are hard working and self-motivated to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity as this will be a brand new location opening early May!!
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and protocols to ensure the highest quality of meals.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setting up and breaking down workstations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
