Grain Dispatch Includes:
Entering loads into System
Responding to Emails
Answering Phones
Communicating with Drivers Via WhatsApp
Planning reloads / Running $/per mile scenarios to see what works
Emailing Customers ETA’s
Monitor where trucks are at to make sure they are on schedule and proactively let farmers and customers know if trucks are early or later than originally planned
Ensuring drivers know where they are going (Google Pins) and have communicated with Shipper/Receivers
Process customs paperwork from Various customs brokers and stay on it to confirm completion (Communicate with drivers prior to them arriving at border if there is trouble)
Proactively solve problems before problems arise
On call for after-hours emergencies
Problem solve (with assistance of shop) when trucks breakdown on the road and communicate with mobile mechanics/tow trucks
Must have’s:
Must be able to read, type and process a high volume of information daily
Stay calm and clear-headed under pressure
Ag/Trucking experience a huge plus
Communication is Key (Can’t assume anything)
Strategic thinking (Loads and schedule are constantly changing like a big game of chess need to be able to see how today’s actions influence tomorrow’s schedule)
Personable and persuasive with drivers and customers (Not forced dispatch so loads need to work in everyone’s best interests)
General computer skills and proficiency are a must as the whole job is behind the computer
Must have a positive problem solving attitude

Pay: $16.08-$31.12 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week
