Cooksville Steel is a well established structural steel fabricator located in Mississauga, Ontario with a second shop facility in Kitchener, Ontario. We have an immediate opening in Mississauga for an experienced Structural Steel fitter.
The successful candidate should have a minimum of five years of heavy structural fitting experience and be fully competent with reading and understanding structural steel shop drawings. You should have a valid tack welding ticket and be certified to operate overhead cranes. You must be comfortable and confident with chaining, flipping, and moving heavy structural sections. You must be fully experienced with operating power and hand tools such as grinders, drills, cutting torches, tape measures, squares, and be able to work with both metric and imperial dimensions. You must be able to speak and write in English. Starting salary is negotiable and based on your relevant experience.
