Kids shine Development Center is looking for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join the team at our clinic in Vancouver. We offer a fun and engaging work environment with the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families.

As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist with KSDC you will
- Provide occupational therapy services to enable children and their family to overcome their challenges and achieve and maintain optimal outcomes, by working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Perform assessments on children’s occupational performance utilizing an evidence-based approach.
- Plan and implement outcome oriented services, and evaluate the effectiveness of the services.
- Demonstrate safe and effective resource utilization and quality management, and contribute to the development, review and promotion of occupational therapy services.
- Prepare and maintain records.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized program.
- Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).
- Knowledge of Occupational Therapy theory and practice within a child and family centred model of care.
- Demonstrated ability to connect with children and their family.
- Clinical experience in pediatric occupational therapy, preferred.
- Knowledge of occupational therapy standardised tests and measures.
- Being on the RASP list (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate (orally and in writing).
- Demonstrated ability to provide effective consultation.
