Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during food handling and preparation
- Assist with setting up tables, cleaning dining areas, and maintaining a clean work environment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and guest satisfaction
- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
- Follow all health regulations related to food safety, sanitation, and food industry standards
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient order processing
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and handling transactions accurately
- Familiarity with food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols in the food industry
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with kitchen staff and fellow servers
- Hospitality mindset with a focus on guest services and upselling techniques
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
