Maple Autism Services is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and reliable ABA Therapist to join our growing team. We provide individualized ABA services for children with autism and developmental needs through both on-site sessions and home-based services across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing ABA programs, working directly with children, collecting data, and supporting skill development in communication, social interaction, play, daily living skills, school readiness, and behaviour reduction.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct one-to-one ABA therapy in-home and/or on-site
- Travel to clients’ homes within the GTA for scheduled sessions
- Implement ABA programs under the supervision of a BCBA/RBA
- Collect accurate data during each session
- Follow behaviour intervention plans and teaching procedures
- Support skill development in communication, social, academic, play, and daily living areas
- Communicate professionally with supervisors and families
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities
- Previous ABA therapy experience is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of prompting, reinforcement, data collection, and behaviour support strategies
- Ability to work independently while following clinical direction
- Reliable transportation is preferred for home-based sessions
- Professional, punctual, patient, and compassionate
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Vulnerable Sector Check required or willingness to obtain one
Preferred Qualifications:
- Autism and Behavioural Science diploma, psychology, education, child development, or related field
- Experience with ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, or skill acquisition programs
- Experience providing home-based ABA service.
