We’re excited to be opening a new café in Kingston in the coming months, and we’re looking for a skilled barista to join our team once we’re ready to launch. If you have barista experience and a passion for crafting quality coffee while delivering excellent customer service, we’d love to hear from you!
Position Details:
As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and espresso beverages while ensuring a great experience for every customer. Key responsibilities include:
- Crafting and serving a variety of espresso-based and specialty drinks
- Maintaining consistency in drink preparation and quality
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Keeping the workspace clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Handling cash and processing transactions accurately
- Assisting with inventory management
Qualifications:
- Previous barista experience is required
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Food Safety) are a plus but not mandatory
Location & Opportunities:
Our café will be located in the downtown core of Kingston, Ontario. We offer both full-time and part-time positions, with flexible scheduling options.
