To support QSP’s growth, we are currently seeking to fill a current vacancy for a Work Management Clerk for full time, remote work. The primary responsibility of this role is to be responsible for scheduling/planning all the jobs in your regions/coverage. Schedule daily/weekly work to Customer Crew/Technicians based on the skill set.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the ordering and tracking of all permits and locates required from the local municipality
- Manage a work tracker for your region, reviewing all work in the queue, and then either submit it for customer approval or assign to a customer technician and coordinate with customer for scheduling
- Weekly/Daily meeting with field supervisors and managers to present the planned work for the upcoming week.
- Contacting customer every day to book appointments and provide updates about the timelines to avoid escalations
- Scheduling next day tasks on route sheets for field technician, reviewing these assignments in daily meetings with the field supervisor, and dropping the next day’s planned workorders in click application
- Regularly review and clean the shared mailbox to ensure nothing gets overlooked. Delegate tasks promptly by assigning workorder based on priority
Skills:
Demonstrated sound knowledge of standard PC software.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills to work independently, using good judgment and to meet required deadlines.
- Proven excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate messages and ensure effective delivery to both internal and external customers and contractors in a professional manner via phone, emails, and/or text message.
- Dependable and professional with the ability to provide consistently high results working independently from home.
- Proven ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Results oriented; able to handle many different tasks and maintain a high level of individual and team performance, focused on providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to perform to required standards during periods of high work volume
- A minimum of 2 years of office-related experience
Technical Competencies:
- Ability to read and understand a variety of archived records and documents
- Ability to identify errors and troubleshoot to correct.
- The ability to read engineering drawings is an asset.
- Post-secondary school education or equivalent.

- A professional and business-like manner
- An excellent understanding and command of the English language.
- Ability to work independently or part of a larger team environment.
