Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Glass Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, replacing, and repairing glass in residential, commercial, and restoration projects. The Glass Installer will work closely with project managers and other trades to ensure precise and safe installations that meet client specifications and industry standards.
Installing:
-Frameless shower doors and tub enclosures.
-Custom mirrors
-Modern glass railings for stairs and decks
-Commercial & residential custom glass enclosures.
Responsibilities
- Utilize hand tools such as saws, drills, levels, and caulking guns to perform installations efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, framing, or repairing existing structures as needed for glass installation.
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure weather-tightness and energy efficiency of installed glass units.
- Collaborate with other trades including carpentry, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, and construction painting to coordinate project tasks.
- Assist in restoration projects by replacing damaged or outdated glass components.
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience with hand tools used in construction or glazing work.
- Knowledge of construction practices including carpentry, caulking, schematics reading, restoration techniques, and blueprint interpretation.
- Familiarity with schematics or technical drawings related to glass installation projects.
- Ability to work safely at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
- Physical ability to lift heavy glass panels and stand for extended periods during installations.

Pay: $20.02-$35.17 per hour
