Howitt Construction is a busy earthmoving company based out of Red Deer. We’re looking for local labourers for a road construction project on Hwy 11 between Eckville & Benalto. Start date is asap.
Candidates should be able to perform all the skills in the Scope of Work, and work in a safe manner following all policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Operating plate tamper,
- Moving rocks to install rip rap around culvert ends,
- Using small sledge hammer to install silt fence,
- Shoveling & raking.
PPE Requirements
- Steel toed boots,
- High visibility safety vest,
- Safety glasses,
- Hard hat & gloves.
Work Details
- 7 days a week, 7am to 6pm - 11 hr shifts,
- Long weekends off (4 days),
- Provide own transportation to and from work site.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $22.00 per hour
