We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen stations throughout shifts
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Follow serving protocols and assist with plating dishes attractively
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and accidents
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling safety standards
- Strong understanding of the food industry and meal preparation processes
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Basic kitchen experience including familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
