Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring prompt service
- Engage with customers to provide excellent customer service, answer questions about menu items, and suggest drink pairings
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
- Assist in setting up for events or special occasions as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Squirrel or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and change calculation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality mindset with a friendly demeanor and teamwork-oriented attitude
- Must be at least 19 years old
