Join our growing bakery team in Scarborough! We pride ourselves on creating high-quality baked goods in a fast-paced, collaborative kitchen environment. We are currently seeking reliable individuals to join us as Bakers and Dough Sheeter Operators to handle production and baking.
Shift Schedule
- Start Time: 6:00 AM
- Days: Monday to Saturday shifts (Flexible 5-day schedules available for full-time)
- No overnight shifts required!
What You Will Do
- Operate commercial bakery machinery, including dough mixers and structural dough sheeters/laminators.
- Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients according to established recipes.
- Roll, cut, sheet, and shape dough to precise thickness and specification standards.
- Monitor baking times and oven temperatures to ensure consistent product quality.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe workspace in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Safely lift and move production ingredients and dough blocks (up to 40-50 lbs).
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience as a commercial baker, pastry cook, or production line operator is preferred (pay rate adjusted based on experience).
- Comfort operating or learning to safely operate bakery machinery (dough sheeters).
- Ability to work efficiently during early morning hours starting at 6:00 AM.
- Strong attention to detail, consistency, and pacing in a production kitchen.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
