Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dependable Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team for 3 months, with the possibility to extend for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Safely load and deliver nursery orders to residential and commercial customers.
- Assist customers in unloading their orders in a professional and friendly manner (hand bombing)
- Work closely with sales, shipping, and warehouse teams to ensure order accuracy and quality
- Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure all deliveries comply with safety regulations.
- Maintain your delivery vehicle, report any issues, and complete required paperwork.
- Operate equipment such as 5-ton trucks, trailers, and skid steers (training provided if needed).
- Occasionally assist with warehouse tasks including pulling and preparing orders.
- Occasionally assist maintenance teams with light duties including greasing, painting, carpentry etc.
Requirements
- Class 5 or Class 3 with Air Brakes license is an asset
- Clean drivers abstract is a must
- 5+ years driving experience with 5-ton trucks
- Comfortable lifting heavy items (up to 80 lbs)
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Experience in mechanics, woodworking is an asset
- Friendly, energetic, and able to work effectively in a team
- Previous experience in landscaping or nurseries is a plus (plant ID skills are a bonus)

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
