Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience in hospital settings, particularly in acute care and pediatrics. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitation programs to help patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life.
Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility and strength.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and self-care techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Stay updated on the latest medical terminology and rehabilitation techniques.
Requirements
- Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Hospital experience is preferred, particularly in acute care settings.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
