Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced AZ Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team for FLATBED/ ROLLTITE. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks adhering to all federal, state, and local transportation laws and regulations.
- Transport freight efficiently between distribution centers, clients, and other designated locations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight using equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle maintenance reports.
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep trucks in optimal condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid AZ commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, freight transport, or related roles.
- Proficiency in heavy equipment operation including forklifts is preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting freight and operating heavy machinery safely.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for record keeping and compliance documentation.
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients.
