Green Tires is building our fall and winter tire-season crew and is looking for several reliable part-time Tire Technicians.
This is a good opportunity for automotive students, apprentices, people with previous tire-shop experience, or mechanically capable candidates who want hands-on automotive work.
We expect to hire 3–4 part-time team members.
Typical work includes:
- Removing and installing wheels
- Tire changes and rotations
- Assisting with tire mounting and balancing
- Preparing winter tire and wheel packages
- Moving and organizing tire inventory
- Pulling customer seasonal-storage sets
- Staging tires and wheels for technicians
- Keeping work areas organized during peak periods
Some shifts may be available evenings, weekends and after normal shop hours, particularly during peak winter-tire season.
Ideal candidates are:
- Mechanically inclined
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable with physical work
- Able to lift tires and wheels repeatedly
- Willing to learn proper shop procedures
- Able to work efficiently as part of a team
Previous tire or automotive experience is an asset, but we will consider strong candidates who are willing to learn.
Automotive students and apprentices are encouraged to apply.
Pay: Starting around $20/hour, depending on experience and responsibilities.
