Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced painter to join our dedicated team that takes pride in delivering high-quality painting projects across residential, commercial, restoration, and industrial settings. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paint, stain, or coatings using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and power tools with precision
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications
- Perform restoration work on existing surfaces to restore or improve appearance and durability
- Operate rigging and scaffolding safely for elevated or hard-to-reach areas
- Utilize hand tools such as scrapers, putty knives, and brushes for detailed work
- Execute commercial and industrial painting projects adhering to safety standards and client specifications
- Manage project timelines effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Communicate regularly with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met or exceeded
Skills
- Proven experience in construction painting, restoration, residential, commercial, and industrial painting projects
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment used in painting applications
- Ability to perform rigging tasks safely at various heights using scaffolding or ladders
- Skilled in caulking techniques for surface sealing and finishing touches
- Knowledge of carpentry basics for surface preparation or minor repairs before painting
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple projects
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients
- Customer service orientation with a professional attitude toward client interactions
