On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Tech Business Analyst – Databricks for a 3 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) Tech Business Analyst – Databricks - Job Description:
The project involves supporting complex requirements to build insights on Insurance customers across multiple geographies in International Banking. The Bilingual Tech Business Analyst will play a crucial role in aligning technology solutions with business strategies and supporting the Technology Program Management & Transformation business group.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) Tech Business Analyst – Databricks - Responsibilities:
- Work with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies.
- Gather requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers.
- Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.
- Demonstrate informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
- Support one or more highly complex business processes.
- Work on multiple projects as a project team member.
- Serve as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) Tech Business Analyst – Databricks - Mandatory Skills:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on technical projects and requirement gathering.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Experience with requirements management tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
- 5-8 years of experience working with SQL, Visio, and Excel.
- 2 years of experience with Power Bi.
- Bilingual: English and Spanish.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) Tech Business Analyst – Databricks – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Any process certification, such as Six Sigma, IIBA CBPP, BPM, ISO 20000, ITIL, CMMI.
- Experience in Databricks.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) Tech Business Analyst – Databricks – Assignment Length:
The contract duration is ASAP to October 31st, with the possibility of extension and conversion to FTE based on performance and project funding.
