The successful candidate we are looking for will be responsible for implementing, customizing and integrating Method:CRM into our customers’ businesses. This person will also provide paid training sessions and work as a dedicated consultant to our customers.

Method creates web applications for small and medium sized businesses (SMB’s). Our flagship product is Method:CRM, a web application made specifically for small and medium sized businesses using QuickBooks and Xero’s accounting software. What sets Method:CRM apart is our ability to create customized applications for individual SMB’s. This is all facilitated by a patented accounting synchronization engine.

The Role
As a Junior Solutions Specialist, you will be part of a driven and supportive team that’s always striving to provide the highest level of customer service, while also utilizing Method’s platform to create customized solutions for our customer’s needs.
- Gather and document business requirements to better understand a customer’s business and scope of work.
- Translate business requirements into designs, data models and technical requirements.
- Scope, design, develop, test and refine customized Method:CRM solutions.
- Monitor and manage a project’s hour allocations, scope, and schedule to ensure they are delivered on-time and on-budget.
- Be a trusted advisor to the customer, understanding the customer’s end-to-end business processes and areas for future growth.
- Provide consistent feedback to the entire team on enhancements we can make to product development.

- Post-secondary education in the following areas preferred: Business Technology Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent training/experience.
- Experience in CRM and SQL is preferred.
- Excellent organizational, presentation and communication skills with an engaging phone presence.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Must have a strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. You must be passionate about your ability to always find solutions to customers’ needs.
- Must be self-motivated, goal drive and possess the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Must have an entrepreneurial spirit, strong ethics and integrity along with the desire to exceed every expectation.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to the overall team’s success in a fast paced environment.
- Bonus points if you are fluent in French or Spanish.

Hybrid Policy
At Method we are working on a hybrid schedule. Employees work from the office 2-3 times each week from our office in downtown Toronto.
In your first 30 days, you will:
- Onboard and acclimate with the Professional Services team.
- Understand Method’s values and how our teams collaborate to drive results.
- Learn and become an expert of our internal communication tools, norms, and practices.
- Obtain your Quickbooks Online ProAdvisor Certification.
- Complete Method’s Bootcamp.
- Successfully complete a number of case studies on Method’s Platform.
In your first 60 days, you will:
- Successfully complete all of the case studies on Method’s Platform.
- Shadow other Methoder’s from the Professional Services team as they perform paid customizations.
- Participate in mock calls with the team.
In your first 90 days, you will:
- Lead calls with customers on customization and champion their needs to provide the ideal platform while another Methoder shadows.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills when mapping an implementation schedule with the client.
- Know when to triage and escalate client issues.
- Participate in your first quarterly performance review.
In your first year, you will:
- Demonstrate strong product and industry knowledge by helping create complex, customized solutions for clients.
- Foster relationships with a dedicated set of customers.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients and colleagues.
- Understand Method's stock application offering to help new and existing customers create and refine custom workflows.
- Provide feedback to our development team to help improve Method's stock app offering
- Participate in your first annual review.
Job type: Full-time permanent.
Compensation: $57,000 - $69,000 annually. The base salary for this role is $45,000 per year. Additional variable compensation is paid out monthly post the probationary period.
