Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service, accurately taking and delivering orders, and ensuring a welcoming dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and a keen eye for detail in food safety and sanitation. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest services throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring proper food handling and presentation
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering procedures, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas according to sanitation standards
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support overall restaurant operations
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive guest experience and promote guest services
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for all necessary skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for cashiering tasks
- Experience in upselling menu items and providing guest services in a fast-paced environment is desirable
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude
Pay: From $17.70 per hour
