Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, packaging, and quality control while contributing to the production of high-quality baked goods and food products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food industry standards, food safety, and customer satisfaction, with previous experience in kitchen or restaurant settings being a plus. This position is essential for maintaining efficient production lines and ensuring product excellence. This shifts is from 330am to 1230 Tuesdays and Wednesdays Only. It is a split shift between open production to storefront team member. This position is not suitable for students in school. This position is not suitable for currently enrolled students or students returning to school in September
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor various food production equipment with attention to safety and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as baking, cake decorating, and ingredient mixing
- Package finished products accurately and efficiently for distribution or sale
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Follow recipes and production guidelines to ensure consistency in product quality
- Inspect products for defects or inconsistencies and report any issues to supervisors
- Support inventory management by organizing supplies and ingredients needed for daily operations
- Adhere to all food handling and safety protocols throughout the production process
Skills
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience provides a strong foundation for this role
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and consistency
- Excellent organizational skills for managing packaging and inventory tasks
- Customer service skills are beneficial for roles involving direct interaction with clients or customers
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Pay: From $17.80 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 20.0 per week
