Overview
We are seeking a skilled Small Engine Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in repairing and maintaining small engines, with experience in lawn mowers, weed trimmers, snowblowers, back pack blowers... This role offers an opportunity to work with a variety of equipment and requires excellent customer service skills. The position involves hands-on repair work, diagnostics, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently and safely. Candidates should be detail-oriented, capable of heavy lifting, and proficient with hand tools, power tools, and schematics.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair small engines, including lawnmowers, generators, and other outdoor power equipment
- Perform maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tune-ups, and part replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and schematics to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance performed
- Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures and heavy lifting tasks
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with small engines or related machinery
- Knowledge of electrical systems and schematics for troubleshooting purposes
- Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to lift heavy components safely and perform physically demanding tasks consistently

Pay: $18.22-$22.00 per hour
