Gas Station & Convenience Store Attendant

Job Overview
We are looking for friendly, reliable individuals to join our team at our new gas station and convenience store in Matheson.
This is a customer service position that involves helping customers, operating the cash register, stocking products, keeping the store clean and organized, and helping with general day-to-day tasks.
Previous experience is not required. We are happy to train the right people.
We have a variety of shifts available and welcome applicants looking for full-time or part-time work. This position could be a great fit for someone looking for daytime hours, a retiree looking to stay active, or someone simply looking for a friendly and dependable place to work.
Applicants 18 years of age or older are preferred; however, students are encouraged to apply for evening and weekend shifts.
What You'll Do
- Greet customers and provide friendly service
- Operate the cash register and process cash, debit, and credit transactions
- Assist customers with purchases and general questions
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays
- Help receive and organize deliveries
- Check product dates and rotate stock
- Keep the store clean, tidy, and organized
- Clean and check customer washrooms
- Empty garbage and recycling
- Keep entrances, fuel pump areas, and exterior areas tidy
- Complete basic opening or closing tasks depending on your shift
- Let management know when products are running low or something needs attention
- Follow store procedures for cash handling, safety, and age-restricted products
- Help coworkers as needed
- Complete other general store duties during your shift

- Able to notice when something needs to be stocked, cleaned, or taken care of
- Comfortable being on their feet throughout a shift
Previous retail, cashier, convenience store, gas station, or customer service experience is an asset, but it is not required. Training will be provided.
Scheduling
We are hiring for a variety of shifts, including:
- Daytime
- Evenings
- Weekends
- Holidays
- Full-time and part-time
