Park Derochie is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our accounting team.

You’ll work with a supportive team and be responsible for weekly payroll across multiple companies, employee records, union reporting, payroll troubleshooting, and supporting employees and operations with payroll-related questions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Process accurate weekly payroll for multiple companies
- Review payroll information and resolve discrepancies
- Work with union agreements and payroll requirements
- Maintain employee records, including hires, rehires, changes and terminations
- Prepare payroll summaries, source deductions and supporting documentation
- Complete Records of Employment (ROEs)
- Review job-site expenses and payroll batches
- Help with union reporting and documentation
- Respond to payroll questions from employees and operations
- Work with systems including Sage, InStaff and Manulife
- Support the accounting and Time & Billing teams as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Payroll experience in a busy environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable using Excel and learning new systems
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Clear, professional communication
- Experience with union payroll or Collective Agreements is a strong asset
- Experience with Sage or InStaff is an asset

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
