Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and plating according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and storage areas
- Manage inventory levels, restock supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold health regulations
- Support front-of-house staff as needed during busy periods
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is a plus
