Homewood Suites by Hilton Mississauga is looking for a Breakfast Server on a part-time basis.
SHIFTS: Weekends and holidays 6am-12pm & weekday on call 5am -1pm....
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To provide friendly, efficient food & beverage service.
Prepare and set up breakfast items for buffet service (includes LIGHT cooking). * Inspect to ensure stock is adequate before beginning operation.
- Replace and rotate stock correctly.
- Keep table condiments stocked.
- Describes all menu items, methods of preparation and prices as needed.
- Works within policy to accommodate guest's special food requests.
- To bus and reset tables as required.
- To report any irregularities or comments from our guests.
- Performs pre and post-shift side work; stocks service station, makes coffee, etc.
- To greet our guests on arrival and welcome them to the outlet, to thank them for their patronage.
- To consistently exceed guest expectations.
- Product knowledge of food, bar drinks and wines will be helpful.
- Additional duties as assigned by Food & Beverage Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS * Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Must have high level of coordination of reaching, bending and lifting
- Ability to work within and meet deadlines. Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments.
- Demonstrated knowledge of guest service and a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations.
- Present a high degree of professional work ethic and image.
- Availability to work evening shifts any day of the week including weekends and holidays.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $19.16 per hour
