Position
AP World History Tutor (Online, Part-Time)
We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and reliable AP World History Tutor to join our teaching team. The ideal candidate is passionate about history, familiar with the AP World History: Modern curriculum, and committed to helping students develop historical thinking skills and excel on the AP exam.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging one-on-one or small-group online lessons via Google Meet or Zoom.
- Teach the AP World History: Modern curriculum in alignment with the College Board framework.
- Help students understand historical developments, themes, and historical thinking skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and practice exercises.
- Assign and review homework and provide constructive feedback.
- Support students with AP exam preparation, including quiz, mock tests.
- Track student progress and communicate regularly with academic coordinators.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in History, Education, Political Science, International Relations, or a related field.
- Previous experience teaching or tutoring AP World History is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the AP World History: Modern curriculum and College Board exam requirements.
- Excellent English communication and writing skills.
- Experience with online teaching platforms such as Google Meet or Zoom.
- Patient, organized, dependable, and passionate about teaching.
- Teaching certification is an asset but not required.

- Compensation: CAD $35–$55 per hour (based on qualifications and experience)
