Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced exterior siding Installer/general labourer who is familiar with James Hardie, metal, wood, vinyl siding installation including site demolition and clean up. The ideal candidate will have a good background in construction and carpentry, with the ability to work with various hand tools. As an Installer, you will be responsible for ensuring that installations are completed accurately and efficiently, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. As a general labourer, you will be proficient in some demolition of siding, handling of basic construction tools and clean up of site debris.
Duties
- Perform installations of various products
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation processes.
- Conduct heavy lifting as required for the installation of materials and equipment.
- Apply caulking and other finishing materials to ensure a polished final product if needed, or be willing to be trained in this.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment during installation process.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installations and provide effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction mandatory.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety practices in a construction environment.
- Credentials such as height training, safety training, boom lift training are a bonus.
- Good physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential
- Responsible attitude of on-time for work, work well with other crew members, and speak at least a minimum English for communicating on the job with others.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
