Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Level 3 Apprentice 310s Technician to join our automotive service team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to advance their mechanical expertise and gain hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. The position is paid and designed to develop your skills in a professional dealership environment, with a focus on customer service and technical proficiency.
Duties
- Assist senior technicians with diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Perform mechanical repairs, including engine work, brake services, and suspension repairs
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repair tasks efficiently and safely
- Conduct vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Assist with assembly of vehicle components and parts as needed
- Read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting electrical or mechanical issues
- Support the team with general shop duties, including inventory management and tool organization
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair status and findings clearly
Requirements
- Prior experience or automotive repair background is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive systems and repairs
- Experience with welding, assembly, and use of hand tools or power tools is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts handling
- Knowledge of schematics, diagnostics, and maintenance procedures for vehicles
- Hands-on experience with automotive repair or mechanic work is desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the dealership’s technician team
