We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Store Manager in our New Hazelton, BC location.
The Assistant Store Manager strives to make our stores a great place to shop for our Customers. We rely on you to provide super-friendly service, maintain a clean and customer-friendly environment, merchandise the store and support the Store Manager in leading the team.
- Open and close the store
- Supervise the store and lead the team in the absence of the Store Manager
- Maintain and delegate daily tasks and updates using the Store Tour Book
- Order, receive and stock merchandise
- Set up windows and in-store displays and signage
- Complete timely and accurate inventory cycle counts
- Process product returns, price changes and mark downs
- Provide excellent Customer Service at the register and otherwise
- Recruit, train and schedule Associates & Keyholders
- Submit reports and Payroll to Home Office
- Assist the Store Manager with store paperwork, emails and other projects
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:
- General experience in retail for 2-3 years
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-task environment
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.25 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- New Hazelton, BC V0J 2J0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
