The Greeter welcomes and screens for COVID-19 symptoms for all visitors, patients, and employees entering the clinic. The Greeter is the first-person patients interact with when they enter the clinic. This is a temporary position with full-time hours. The ideal candidates are customer-service oriented, have a pleasant personality, and are professional in attitude and appearance.
Coordinate supplies before entering the shift (PPE, sanitizers)
Required to wear facility mandated PPE
Cordially greets patients and visitors upon arrival.
Ask COVID-19 screening checklist questions for patients/visitors entering the clinic
Check patient/visitor and employee's temperature.
Ensures patients and companions are wearing face masks and properly covering their mouths and nose in the waiting room.
Provides information and directs people to the clinic location they need.
Sanitizes common touch areas in the waiting room on a regular base.
Monitors the waiting room occupancy
Communicates with the front desk about patient requests and needs
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Performs related duties as required.
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution required
A mature, dependable, and caring individual who can communicate courteously and effectively with patients, families, visitors, and staff.
Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
Must be able to stand/walk as needed through the shift.
Exhibit an upbeat and positive demeanor
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient
To keep our staff safe, the greeting station is equipped with a plexiglass barrier and greeters are equipped with face masks. Hand sanitizing stations are located at the entrance for anyone entering building.
