Service & Maintenance Technician
We are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined Service & Maintenance Technician to join our team immediately. This is a hands-on role combining customer service, equipment installation, repair, maintenance and occasional local deliveries.
Position Details
§ Start Date: ASAP
§ Employment Type: Full-Time
§ Starting Wage: From $25.00/hour
§ $2,500 Retention Bonus (after 12 months of consecutive employment)
§ Company vehicle and fuel compensation provided.
§ Potential OT
Primary Responsibilities
§ Install and service point-of-use (POU) water coolers and filtration equipment. Complete basic plumbing connections, including running water lines and drilling through cabinets for installations.
§ Perform scheduled filter replacement, sanitization and general maintenance.
§ Diagnose, sanitize and repair bottled water coolers and related equipment. (I.e. distillers)
§ Provide professional, friendly customer service at residential and commercial locations.
§ Complete occasional local deliveries of water, coolers and related products.
§ Perform basic maintenance on company vehicles, including replacing light bulbs, patching tires and other minor repairs.
§ Assist with warehouse and facility maintenance, including replacing furnace filters, basic equipment repairs and completing general upkeep.
§ Assist with water production and general warehouse duties.
§ Assemble, inspect and prepare new equipment for customer installations.
§ Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair recommendations.
Qualifications
§ Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
§ Experience with plumbing, maintenance, appliance repair, HVAC or a related trade is considered an asset.
§ Comfortable using hand and power tools.
§ Excellent customer service and communication skills.
§ Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
§ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
§ Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
