Dog Walker / Pet Care Assistant (Part time/Casual with Growth Potential!)
Local dog walking business is looking for a reliable, compassionate, and dog-loving walker to join the team!
We provide personalized 1:1 dog walking and cat visits based on our clients needs.
We are focused on creating a safe, enriching, and positive experience for every pet in our care. Our goal is to make each visit feel like a fun, safe, adventure while providing pet parents peace of mind knowing their family member is our top priority.

Position Details:
- Casual / part-time role with growth potential
- Independent contractor position insured through ProFur.
- Flexible weekday availability preferred
- Primarily daytime walks + occasional drop-ins.
- Must be comfortable walking in all weather.
- Supplemental income opportunity — hours are not guaranteed initially

You Are:
- Flexible and willing to grow with me and my company! This role is NOT suitable for students.
- Passionate about dogs and animal care.
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and energy levels.
- Reliable, punctual, and communicative.
- Confident walking multiple dogs if needed.
- Able to work independently and manage time well.
- Comfortable using your phone for updates/photos/messages.
- Patient and attentive to dog behaviour and routines.
- Friendly, professional, and trustworthy

Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license + reliable vehicle.
- Legal working age.
- Able to commit to a flexible schedule.
- Previous dog experience (personal or professional) preferred.
- Comfortable being active outdoors daily in any weather.
- Police background check may be required.
- Willingness to enrol in Pet First Aid Training course.

- Have previous dog walking experience.
- Have excellent time management skills.
- Love taking cute dog photos/videos.
- Have experience with reactive or anxious dogs.
- Enjoy hiking or enrichment-based walks.
- Have availability during weekends, holidays or midday hours
