JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Answering/Dispatching incoming phone calls for towing services; police impounds, accidents, roadside assistance, private impounds, and city bylaws. Receiving calls for the Burnaby RCMP, Burnaby Fire Department, City of Burnaby Bylaw Officers, ICBC, and the general public providing pleasant and professional, knowledgeable, customer service.
· Effectively dealing with ICBC tow desks including receiving and processing tow requests
· Release of customers impounded vehicles
· An input of calls into the dispatch software
· Processing Visa, Mastercard, debit and e-transfer payments
· General reception duties including ordering office supplies, filing, faxing, photocopying, and ICBC invoicing, and other duties assigned
· Assisting our accounting office in various office related tasks and protocol
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Pleasant disposition, well-mannered, reliable, confident
· Have effective telephone manners on a multiple line switchboard
· Strong computer skills, able to use Microsoft Office
· Strong organization, problem solving and time management skills
· Excellent communication skills (in person, via telephone and via email)
· Able to work under pressure in person and on the phone
· Able to work as a team player
· Handle high call volumes with emphasis on accuracy and detail, ability to problem solve and multi-task are crucial to success of this role
· General knowledge of the Lower Mainland is an asset

Pay: $26.00-$34.00 per hour
