This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on Productivity Manufacturing & Construction Lead
who thrives in the field, leads from the front, and takes ownership of day-to-day manufacturing execution. The role emphasizes visible leadership, crew engagement, and quality delivery across the plant.
Schedule & Location
· Location: Kingston, Ontario facility.
· Days: Monday to Friday.
· Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
· Overtime: Occasional based on demand.
Department: Operations & Production | Reports To: Operations Manager
Compensation & Benefits
· $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
· Maintain a daily on-site presence to oversee all construction activities.
· Lead crews through active participation, supervision, and coordination.
· Train, mentor, and develop junior workers.
· Drive performance through example, accountability, and workmanship standards.
· Ensure adherence to site safety, schedule, and quality requirements.
· Inspect molds and reinforcement structures.
· Monitor concrete pouring processes.
· Lead weekly safety meetings.
· Manage 1–2 concurrent projects, with flexibility during peak periods.
Project Environment
· Focus on institutional and commercial construction and renovation (e.g., public-sector facilities).
· Success in this environment requires strong professionalism, communication, safety discipline, compliance, and the ability to operate in occupied or sensitive environments.
Work Schedule
· Typical hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (~40 hours/week).
· Occasional weekend work required to meet deadlines when needed.
Support & Work Environment
· Structured project setup with clear expectations and documentation provided.
· Team culture emphasizes knowledge transfer, mentorship, respectful communication, and collaborative site leadership.
Mandatory Requirements
· Valid driver’s license.
· CPIC checks.
· Relevant site supervision certifications (e.g., Supervisor training, First Aid/CPR/AED).
Preferred Qualifications
· 8–10+ years in industrial/manufacturing/construction supervision.
· Precast concrete environment experience preferred.
· Civil Engineering Technology degree.
· Strong blueprint reading skills.
· Lean manufacturing principles knowledge.
· Prior experience mentoring or developing team management skills.
· Background in manufacturing or construction environments.
Working Conditions
· Industrial plant floor environment.
· Regular exposure to heavy machinery.
· Loud noise levels require PPE.
· Occasional lifting up to 25 kg.
